There are places that resonate deep within our souls even before we discover them. Places that call to us silently, patiently waiting for our hearts to be ready to receive them. That’s what I felt when I began dreaming of a sacred space, somewhere between the sea and the mountains, where ancient healing traditions could take root.

An initiatory quest
The story of this quest began in 2020, in the Hérault region, a land both wild and little-known. Nestled between the tranquil waves of the Mediterranean and the towering heights of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Park, this region enchanted me. I fell in love with its contrasting landscapes, its energy, and its nature, reminding me of the diversity of Peru, where I had lived with my Shipibo Maestra, absorbing not only the teachings of plants but also the silent wisdom of the earth itself.
The teachings of the healers
Throughout my travels, from the Peruvian jungles to the coasts of the Philippines, I learned from traditional healers like Lola Flores. I observed their sacred gestures and the intimacy of healing. In these cultures, the healer doesn’t wait for others to come to them. They are rooted in the land, and it is the land itself that calls those seeking healing. This is the tradition I carry — one that turns the place itself into a space of healing, welcoming, and transmission.
The search for the ideal place
With this vision, I needed to find the ideal place. A location where the energy of the earth itself could heal. Where nature would vibrate with its own wisdom. I had specific criteria: a secluded, wild space, bathed in calm, and most importantly, a place with a water source and healing energy. But the search was not easy. With my partner, we visited, dreamed, hoped... and sometimes gave up. We experienced moments of doubt when it seemed that this dream was out of reach.
The initiation to welcoming
And yet, the earth only reveals itself when we are ready to welcome it. It was an inner journey, an initiation. I had to overcome my fears, align my mind and heart with this project. It wasn’t just my path, but also my partner’s. Together, we had to evolve, grow, and prepare ourselves to welcome this sacred land.
A meeting of faith: embracing the invisible
It was a misty morning, as if the earth itself wanted to welcome us into a cocoon, inviting us to feel beyond the visible. The fog was a metaphor for the unknown that often presents itself in life. This space of uncertainty where our traditional senses fail, but where the heart knows. We walked on this land, wrapped in this mist. It wasn’t the landscape that guided us, but an energy, a silent voice whispering that we were exactly where we needed to be.
Saying yes without seeing, without certainty. It is accepting to move forward into the unknown, to trust what we feel rather than what we see. It is being faced with commitment. It is questioning our relationship with commitment. The commitments we have accepted or not in our lives. The ones we make without fully understanding them at the time. Whether in a relationship, a project, or a healing journey, we are often asked to move forward without knowing, to accept without fully understanding, to welcome without seeing.

Faith and surrender
Moving forward without seeing,
Accepting without seeing,
Is an act of faith.
A leap into the unknown.
A call to surrender,
An invitation to embrace uncertainty.
Each step on this land is a meeting with the Creator.
Faith arises for those who learn to listen.
We heard the earth inviting us to enter into communion with it, not through sight, but through the heart. “Honor the power of feelings,” it seemed to whisper to us. Learn to recognize that some truths reveal themselves only to those who know how to perceive them beyond the visible.
The sacred encounter
The winding road through the forest seemed like a path into the unknown. All around us, the soothing silence of nature enveloped us, and when the old solitary barn emerged from the thick fog, a deep sense of peace flooded over us. It was as if past and future met in that moment, in an embrace of gratitude. It was a sacred encounter, a mutual recognition.
Terre de Reliance
Terre de Reliance this simple yet meaningful name was born from this union between the earth and our dream. It is a place where ancient Hopi wisdom will flourish, a refuge for souls seeking healing and reconnection. A space where nature itself will be our guide, and where every stone, every tree, will carry the story of a new beginning.
An invitation to discovery and healing
If this story and these reflections have touched you, and you wish to learn more about the spiritual path of the Hopis, I invite you to discover the Terre de Reliance project, a sacred space in the making, dedicated to healing, where nature and ancient teachings will be our guides. You can learn more by visiting the page dedicated to this project [here].
