HOPI COMMUNITY

Native American wisdom and belief

The desire to create a French-speaking community around the Hopi teachings comes from the desire to share the knowledge, wisdom and practices received byGrandmother Medicine Song  and  Satya. This community aims to bring together those who wish to learn and live according to the Hopis philosophy.

The Franco Hopi community gives individuals affected by this tradition an opportunity to come together, discuss and share these teachings. It also promotes mutual learning and spiritual enrichment through locally organized workshops, conferences and ceremonies.

Blue corn is central to Hopi community, cultural and spiritual life, as a sacred symbol, source of sustenance and connection to their beliefs and ancestral history.

It represents the close relationship between this people and the land, as well as their mutual dependence on nature. Corn cultivation also embodies the values of cooperation, respect for the environment and deep connection with the ancestors.

It strengthens closer ties within the community by encouraging sharing, nurturing spirituality, transmitting knowledge and celebrating cultural symbols.

"Let us become kernels of corn."

This community offers the chance to talk with other communities of the Grandmother Medicine Song lineage. This helps to create stronger bonds between these different groups and to spread the knowledge of Hopi wisdom around the world.
